Getting Started

See MelaGRC for yourself: start your free 30-day workspace

The best way to understand MelaGRC is to use it. Set up your own private workspace at app.melagrc.com in a few minutes, with no sales call, and see what a live, connected risk register does for your organisation.

Most organisations do not lack information about their risks. They lack a single, current picture of it. Threats to strategic objectives sit in spreadsheets, audit findings wait in email threads, and the risk register is a month or more out of date by the time it reaches the board. The board pack says one thing while operations are doing another.

MelaGRC was built to close that gap, and the quickest way to judge whether it does is to try it on your own terms. So we have made that simple: anyone can now set up a free MelaGRC workspace in a few minutes.

What you get

A private workspace on app.melagrc.com, set up for your organisation alone and free for 30 days. It starts clean, with the core configuration already in place, so everything you see in it is your own work and nobody else’s data.

Sign up in three steps

1. Request your workspace

Go to melagrc.com/demo and enter two details: your organisation’s name and your work email address. There is no sales call and no payment card.

2. Activate your account

Within a few minutes we email an activation code to the address you gave. Click Activate my account in that email, or go to app.melagrc.com/account/activate, enter your email address and the code, and choose a password.

3. Sign in

Sign in at app.melagrc.com. Your user name is your email address.

What to try first

Start from your strategy. Record one or two of your organisation’s strategic objectives. Every risk you capture can then be tied to the objective it threatens, which is what turns a list of risks into a picture of what is really at stake.

Build a live risk register. Add a handful of real risks, score them for likelihood and impact, and assign owners. Unlike a spreadsheet, the register is shared and current: when an owner updates a risk, everyone sees the change at once.

Connect assurance to risk. Capture an audit finding or a control gap and link it back to the risk it relates to, so issues stop living in separate documents and start showing up where decisions are made.

A good first test: take the top five risks from your last board pack and enter them into MelaGRC. Within an hour you will see where the gaps in ownership, scoring and follow-up actually are.
